REDACION PARA CORREGIR DE 2º INTERMEDIO POR PABLO DE INTERMEDIO 2 N ONE OF THE BEST ACTIVITY THAT YOU CAN DO…. Plenty of scientific studies demonstrate travelling is one of the best activities that anyone can do. Besides keeping the body and the mind active, it allows to do new international friends and to know different cultures, which makes anyone open your view of the world. In the other hand, travelling allows you know site and places breathtaking, and that help to improve your cultural task. A lot of people, when they come back from a journey, had decided to study History or History of Art. Although if you can you must avoid to visit overcrowded places, owing to this places are spoilt. Many people prefer going to off the beaten path and unspoilt places, with the aim of enjoying of the environment´s beauty. Moreover these trips help that the persons love more the nature. It´s proved people usually go on an outing in the nature, take care of environment better, and this is something very interesting nowadays, with the currently problems, such as spoilt places, endangered species and the litter dropped inappropriate rubbish dump. In this way, travelling and visiting new places help to discover other things, however sometimes we can have some problems. The first problem that we can suffer is whether we have to postpone or cancel the journey, due to any sick of a close relative, problems at work or other personal reason. Seeing that, it is very recommendable to take out travel insurance, above all if the journey is expensive. In addition, the travel insurance would help us if we had to cut short our holiday. The most usual problem in touristic and overcrowded places is the bag´s and wallet´s thefts. In the touristy there are many. Therefore you must take care and have your valuable thing in every moment. Furthermore, before starting the journey, you must test if your passport is valid, due to the fact that if it is out of order the official will not go into foreign countries. Even though, the typical problems are with the flight. Many people is terrified of flying. If you are one of them, you will take some pills in order to sleep all the flight. In spite of the fears, flying is the surest transit media and only taking off and landing is a little dangerous, and not so much if we see the statistics. The emergency landing are very few frequent and less the air accident. If you wanted to calm down, you would speak with the stewards and maybe they would show you the cockpit, and you would see how many security measures there are. If you aren´t frightened, you will can get a windows seat and you will see the different countries running under you. The aisle seats aren´t so funny. But the problem which more persons have problems it is the checking. Every airline have their rules, thus the maximum weight of your baggage changes in every flight, so as to the checked luggage and the carry-on luggage. If the scales shows excess luggage, you will pay a tax. Consequently I only buy in the stopovers, and products which I can put in the overhead locker. To sum up, I suggest you that you travel all you can, to all countries you can, you enjoy with the meal tray and most off all, that you never have to put off or cancel your journeys and you discover picturesque sites!

UGANDA SIGNS ANTI-GAY BILL (AVANZADO 2) Homosexuality is taboo in almost all African countries and illegal in 37 - including Uganda, where rights groups say gay people have long risked jail. Few Africans are openly gay, as they fear violence, imprisonment and loss of their jobs. The law comes a week after U.S. President Barack Obama said the legislation would be "a step backward for all Ugandans" and warned it would complicate relations. Uganda is a key Western ally in the fight against Islamic extremism in Somalia, where Ugandan troops form the backbone of the African Union force battling al Qaeda-aligned militants. A senior Obama administration official had said the United States would review relations with Uganda if the law was enacted. Washington is one of Uganda's largest donors, sending more than $400 million a year. British Foreign Secretary William Hague said on Monday London questioned the bill's compatibility with the Ugandan constitution and international treaty obligations. But he made no mention of aid cuts from Britain, another big donor. Austria said it was reviewing its assistance. Denmark said it was diverting 50 million crowns ($9 million) of development aid away from the Ugandan government and Norway said it would hold back 50 million krone ($8 million) of support. Other human rights in the country Child labour is common in Uganda. Many child workers are active in agriculture. Children who work on tobacco farms in Uganda are exposed to health hazards. Child domestic servants in Uganda risk sexual abuse.[44] Trafficking of children occurs.Slavery and forced labour are prohibited by the Ugandan constitution. The US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants reported several violations of refugee rights in 2007, including forcible deportations by the Ugandan government and violence directed against refugees Torture and extrajudicial killings have been a pervasive problem in Uganda in recent years.
